It really pisses me off how even a portion of the American public can protest against this war. I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but it still pisses me the fuck off. I don't like the war, but I'm sitting here waiting for an IA (Individual Augmentation) to come my way and order me off to the land of the sand people.
It isn't your (or 'our' for that matter) choice whether or not we go to war, the best we can do is suck it up and support the ones that have to deal with the bull shit.
I myself can't wait to get home and get into a conversation with somebody that says they would protest, or have protested, against this war. They will walk away with a very broken nose.
When I was back home I didn't think it mattered to the ones that were off and away what was said back in the states. I always thought they were too far away to really care. Now that I'm here and I've seen the effect it can have on the ones here with me, I have come to appreciate what just a little bit of support from home can do. And how much damage even the smallest bit of dissent can cause.
I sit in the galley eating the shitty food and on the TV I see a list of fallen Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, and Seamen scroll down the screen. So I look over the names and then when the screen changes I see a CNN bulletin or some shit saying there has been another protest against the war or some other shit like that.
How do you people think that makes me feel?
How about the people over there already that will watch the same thing after it has been recorded and sent over.
We have no choice. We don't have to like it, we are here regardless. And I don't wanna see a comment attached to this telling me I never should have raised my hand in the first place. I am DAMN proud of what I do, what I have done, and what I have yet to do for my country.
So America, to those of you that are behind us, Hoo-Rah.
To those of you that are in front of us, Fuck You.

well said. I couldn't agree more. It's a free-for all, fuck 'em all, you are your own fight! Sorry, but it's one of the few Greenday songs I like. Fuck their new album!
well done.
Well said. Do you mind if I link you and get your words out to those that support you??
by all means, link away!
I agree with you completely. It's hard enough to go out there and do what you have to do without all the naysayers at home. You really do hold this country in the hollow of your hand, keeping us safe from those who would wish us harm. Thank you for all you do and all you sacrifice.
Stay safe.
(And I linked you too. I think the more people who read this, the better.)

Land of the sand people, huh? Support you? No thanks.
Well said, and thanks for your service.

Although you are nearly half my age you are in the theatre of combat. I have never been so I certainly acknowledge that you have seen things I have not. However, this is to let you know that I personally accept your offer of a punch in the nose. To expedite this agreement as a member of the "moonbat" anti-war movement I will do all in my power to assure that you and your fellow soldiers are brought home safely and ALIVE. A broken nose is the smallest of prices to pay for that.....
Michael,
What good would it do to bring us home before the job is done? Just so some other 19 y/o in some other country would have to come out here? No thanks. I'd rather stay and get it finished. Better me than the next person.
Footsie,
So, I was a little irate when I wrote this, hahaha. But then again I also said, "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion..."
Thank You!!
A civil difference of opinion is always a good thing I think. However it occurs to me that it would be in poor taste to debate you as I am sure you have enough on your plate at present. I wish you well and God speed.
There's a lot of people behind you guys, as a matter of fact I would say most people. Liberals are like warts on the nose of humanity, an anomoly. Fear not, there's not a one of them that understands demographics, we will literally outbreed them within the next 100 hears, or we'll blow ourselves up, something like that. hehe

Can I get a hoo-fucking-ra!
